Is Hollywood Conservative?

Is Hollywood conservative? Are there movies or TV shows that make you think Hollywood is a conservative institution?

I'll start with two movies as examples. Juno and Knocked Up were movies that dealt with the topic of unplanned pregnancies. Adoption and raising the baby as a single parent were options, but abortion wasn't. This sends a conservative message, at least with these two movies.

Of course, two movies don't represent the totality of Hollywood, and I am probably oversimplifying everything in order to get a discussion started. So, please give examples of Hollywood being conservative. If you disagree, please give examples showing where Hollywood is not conservative.

Yes, compared to European movies, they're very conservative.

I think Hollywood is not conservative and just few movies not represent them.
Now it has many new and old unique movies that are awesome.

Actually, many think the actors and actresses tend to be more liberal. There are some (but it doesn't seem alot) of conservative actors and actresses, obviously. It would be interesting to see the percentage breakdown. (I don't favor one or the other but that's a whole different topic).

In terms of sensitive topics they might be conservative, but other than that its pretty liberal. European movies are less conservative still than Hollywood movies.
