Is internal storage within the main board?

[Android Central Question]

I have an samsung A32 5g. The connection or port for the screen display on the MAIN BOARD is broken.

Is the internal data within the main board?

OR is the data strictly in the mobile device? (not physical sd card etc.) But just stored data that exist with the device.

So if i swap out a main board and a new screen, for my original device, will i still have all my previous data from my old phone?

The system storage is usually soldered right to the logic board. Swapping out the board would swap out the storage.
