\ and = are on the 12# screen set 2/2.

When on the normal alpha screen, hit the 12# button near the bottom right, the shift to the 2nd set by hitting the 1/2 button on the bottom left.

I don't know why, the the IME mod keyboard does seem to give me a lot less trouble with the spaces than I had with the stock. Is it just me or is the spacing & padding different on the mod? I know that makes a huge difference on laptops, presume it would apply here.

Yes, i calibrated both.

once i got used to swype its soo much faster and easier but i also have a new jersey devils keyboard along with a baltimore orioles one
