Is it not possible to watch Quicktime or WMV Videos?

I have tried to watch both on-line but they won't play. I downloaded the wmv (it appears to be a .mov video, excuse my ignorance, but I am not up to speed on all of the video types) but I still can't play it with the Evo video player.

Am I doing something wrong or is it just not possible? Thanks in advance.

Download Rockplayer from the market (click Back on the nag screen message). The stock player only really plays .mp4 files. Rockplayer basically plays anything.

Only problem with Rockplayer is that you can't use it over HDMI.

I found rockplayer to be terrible. The videos lag.

One reason I am liking the Galaxy S. xvids, divx, mp4, mkv,wmv all play smooth.

I have people that send me WMV files as email attachments. I installed RockPlayer but the email program will not even try to open them. How can I view these files? Is there some way to save them to the SD card and then open them?
