Is it possible considering the screen's condition?

Hello to everyone,

I have a Samsung Galaxy S 4.
The phone has a passcode.
I have tried unlocking it remotely but it didn't work.
The phone works and can receive notifications and be switched on and off.
The screen is cracked and the cracks are deep.
It constantly stays black even when the phone is on.
In general the screen is completely non-functional.

I have gathered that with USB OTG cable and a USB of a mouse I can bring up the image of my smartphone onto the PC and control it with the mouse on the PC.

Bearing in mind the S 4's screen condition, using a USB OTG cable and a USB of a mouse, will I be able to bring up the phone's screen on the PC monitor?

Thank you :)

I don't understand clearly, do you want to unlock the phone or just to use it? You can always hold home button, volume up and power for 10 seconds to do a re-flash to clear everything and erase the whole phone like factory reset to remove the passcode.

I will be getting the Samsung Galaxy S 7 Edge and I would like to transfer all of the data from the S 4 to the S 7. I do not want to be erasing things. I just want to know the answer to the question
