Is it possible to forcefully shutdown a Huawei Nova 5t

I've cracked my phone screen and its glitching and pressing buttons without me touching it, need to shut it down but cant press shutdown on screen. Is there anyway to Shut it down with buttons or something?

Try holding the power button for 30 seconds

You held it for a full 30 seconds? That typically forces a shutdown on any Android device (except for Samsung devices, which is usually Power and Vol Down for about 30 seconds).
