Is it possible to press the trackball to wake the Hero out of standby?

Is there any way to use the trackball to wake up the Hero? I'm coming from a BlackBerry, and I'm used to just pressing the trackball to wake the thing up.

Not that I'm aware of .. besides I could see that being bad for those of us that carry it in our pockets. Just retrain yourself to hit the menu button twice.
