Is it possible to put a Verizon Droid on MTS network?

Hi, i would like to know if it would be possible to put a droid on the Canadian MTS network. It is CDMA, but doesn't have any good phones.

i heard from a reliable source that if i buy a verizon droid on ebay and put it on MTS the data wouldn't work. can anybody PLEASE prove that wrong
