Is it possible to remove encryption from a Galaxy S% without doing a factory reset?

I encrypted my Galaxy S5 smartphone yesterday and now I have to provide a password each time I want to access my phone. I called Samsung Help and they won't even discuss this issue with me. Is it possible to remove encryption from a Galaxy S% without doing a factory reset?
