Is it possible to remove the cord from the wall charger lke the iPhone?

Yes, it can.

Yeah, it's just a USB port that plugs into the wall. The USB cable is a separate piece.

I think the only phones that don't do that now are dumb phones (i.e. flip phones etc.)
