I've just moved from iPhone to Android, and I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to change the lock-screen playback options so that they include "rewind" and "fast forward". I'd also like to be able to see where I am in each track without having to unlock the phone, if possible.
At the moment I can only start/stop and skip backwards or forwards from the lock-screen. If I want to rewind, or if I want to skip ahead a few seconds, I have to unlock the phone and go into the media player itself. Can I change that?
Ideally I'd like something similar to the iPhone set up, which allows you to rewind 15 seconds and fast forward 30 seconds from the lock-screen, while also showing where you are in the track. Is that possible on Android?
I listen to a lot of audio-books and podcasts, and doing this has become second nature to me. I'm using BBC Sounds and Google Podcasts on a Samsung A50. Thanks.
