Is it possible to take picture using physical buttons on side?

I have a disability and only have use of one hand. Is it possible to configure the camera to take a picture using one of the volume buttons?

I can't hold the phone and hit the on-screen button at the same time.

Yup, you can set the volume buttons to act as either zoom or shutter buttons. You can also set it up to take pictures via voice command, so you don't have to struggle with holding the phone and hitting the buttons (which usually results in you moving the phone and hence, your shot).

In the Camera Settings, you'll see a 'Shooting Methods' option which contains the 'Press Volume key to' selection as well as other options for triggering the shutter.
