Is it possible to use your Note 3 as a screen using an HDMI to MicroUSB cable?

I want to find a way to connect an equipement (DVD, Cable box, etc) To my Note 3 using an HDMI to MicroUSB cable.

How can I do this?

Nope. The phone only supports video out, not video in. The only way to do this, and mind you, it would be choppy, is to either have a computer capturing the video and sending that screen via VNC (with apps like Remote Desktop, etc.) to your phone.

Another way is to have a device like a Sling Box that captures the video and sends it over the network, and then you can stream that to your phone.

One last option is if you use a Samsung TV that supports mirroring to the phone (most post 2011 TVs do). Problem is Samsung decided their Smart View app needed a redesign and they removed that option from the newer version (currently in Beta, and support says the feature would 'probably' make its way back into the app), so you'd have to find an APK for an older version to use this.
