Back before the Nextel Sprint merger my wife had ttaken a number off my SIM card, registered online and put the number in her account. By doing this she was able to read word for word every text sent to and from my cell phone.

Since then I hear it's against the law and only court orders can get that info. Is this true. I want to be able to keep an eye on my 10 years old sons account since he has now learned to erase messages.

talk to sprint, there may be a way of getting this feature printed on your statements or maybe with their family tracking/safety they have something similar.

You could set up a google account for them on their phone and set up phone through google voice. By logging into that account you can see all activity including text mesaages.
