Is it safe to update now?

I haven't been on these forums in a while since VZW released that software update a little over a month ago I think it was. I remember it basically destroying the phones and causing major problems. I have been delaying the update ever since it came out, is it ok to update it now, or will it still cause some issues with my phone? Thanks

The update to MF1 is pretty reliable - I don't think I've seen any substantiated reports of problems.
Once the update is done your best bet will be to boot into Recovery mode and clear the cache. And you might even want to do a Factory Reset - your call.

i haven't heard any complaints from anyone else, but my GS3 has been freezing, running hot, shutting down...I would call Verizon for a replacement but this is the 3 or 4th phone they have sent me..
