Is it the G2 or the eFile app??

For the 2nd time in the last 2 weeks, my SD card has been robbed of pictures. The first time it was random pics from a number of galleries, ranging from my regular camera gallery to the FXCamera gallery. And not just from a certain date, all dates ranging from when I first got the phone.
Today I used the eFile app and created a new folder to stick all my Thanksgiving photos into. I went into my gallery and the photos were all gone, no Thanksgiving folder.
So I popped the battery (I come from Blackberry and this is what I know to do to reset.. and let the phone restart. Still no Thanksgiving folder and the photos are still all gone.
Anyone have any idea on if this is a G2 thing, which I though until this morning, or if this is an eFile thing after this mornings neat deletion of photos...

I'm thinking it's an eFile thing. I have galleries from dropbox, the camera, and shootme. Nothing has disappeared at all for me.
