Those of you that were lucky enough to get ICS,

Is it true that you can disable apps like the crap bloatware Verizon stuffs the phones with?

What are some of the programs that are safe to disable or uninstall?

To those of you that got the ICS update. Did you sign up for soak testing?

Sweet and thank you! Would you care to explain the process of doing so that way those of us saps that don't have ICS yet are well prepared for when we do.

I never signed up for the soak test and got the update early yesterday morning.

Open the app drawer. Hold an app down like you are going to add it to your home screen. At the top of the screen will be an icon saying I think more options? Go there and you can disable some apps.

You can disable MOST bloatware but not all. I've attached a pic of the bloatware app's I have disabled, but programs like Motocast do not have this option, so I just freeze them. It's funny, Motorola will allow you to disable VZW apps but not their own lol

I can forgive Moto for not allowing their apps to be disabled as they have never screwed me over, but Verizon on the other hand has been trying to give me colon cancer for years and just keeps on ramming!!!
