Is KitKat worth on Galaxy S4...??

I am very much surprised about the new KitKat features on Galaxy S4. Because some of the features that come in KitKat are already pre installed in Galaxy S4. For example, KitKat says it has 'Ok Google' feature to control the phone by voice. But this feature is already there in S4 called 'Google Now'. Both functions are similar. Even there is 'S Voice' app to replace Ok Google. KitKat has 'Step Count' and S4 has 'S Health' to alternate it. Another app is Hangout. This Hangout is already integrated with SMS|MMS send/receive feature. Then why do they call it 'new hangout'?? There are some of the repeated features to complain about. I don't think bringing the camera shortcut to lock screen will make big change. May be other than the repeated features, I hope KitKat will be good for other model handsets !!!! What you guys think...??

Well as with any update they are always welcomed. KitKat isn't going to bring a ton of new visual user end features but like usual it will have plenty of under the hood tweaks and security improvements that are a plus.

Google has offloaded most of their features onto the play store and through a hidden app you do not see called google play services. This can update with out you even knowing. Google has done this to make the fact that OEM's take forever to update their products not as big a deal.

That being said; three under the hood improvements require three system level to be updated. There is usually always an advantage to this. For example just one of the unseen improvements with KitKat is that it requires half the amount of ram to operate. This is a huge advantage that most people would never know, but it really improves the speed of the phone.
