is lagfix running?

Hey i've been running community v1.3 which is my first voodoo kernel. I didn't actually turn voodoo on in CWM immediately following the flash, but did it a few boots later. I just checked it, and it still says:

Voodoo lagfix is actually: disabled
next boot: enabled

But obviously this doesn't change when I reboot. Is voodoo off? If so what am I doing wrong?
 
yep i read that right before I posted... When I reboot it's always fast (ie no converting going on), and when I go back into recovery it still says that lagfix is disabled.

Did you not hear a woman's robot voice? if not then you might want to reflash the Rom
 
Well I just downloaded quadrant and got a benchmark of 1488... the galaxy s is listed around 800, so I'm guessing it's working then :) you guys agree?

I'll reflash cwm just to see if lagfix shoes up as "enabled"
