Is LG spying on you?

Ever since the recent update, the LG Smart World app keeps on starting and running in the background by itself. I don't read the privacy policy agreements but I think it says something about collecting your data. Is this true? Does the LG Smart World app contain spyware and are they collecting your info?

My question is why does SmartWorld need to run in the background 24/7? It never did that before the update..

Smart World runs games, themes, etc. You can always force stop it.
