Background :

Just bought this baby yesterday. I was told to charge it for some 10 hours so I just left the charger unplugged and went to sleep.
When i was using it this morning , I noticed that the battery was draining fairly fast. I didnt play games (in fact I dont have any games installed on this baby) , I didnt do any fancy stuff. What I did was just browse the internet using chrome and watch a few videos on Youtube. Thats about it. Nothing else. The battery was draining at an uncommon speed. So I killed all the running apps and stopped using it and just let it sleep for an hour in order to see if the battery would drain as fast. As expected , it didnt even go down 1% after an hour of sleeping.

My question is:

Is this normal? Am I supposed to let it sleep all day in order to save the battery? (Which is ridiculous) Why would it drain like runny blood if all i did were mainly just browse and watch Youtube ? I did use Whatsapp but i dont think it would drain my battery like that? Samsung claims that the battery lasts around 11-12 hours watching videos (heavy use??) , while I read on the other website that the battery can easily last through two days of "moderate use". Yet the fact is , the battery is already at 60% after some 6 hours and 32 mins of moderate use (Well , my use is moderate as you can tell.) , is that curve way too steep? I mean come on ! There is no way this baby can "last through two days".

Attached is my battery stat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That looks pretty reasonable. Mostly because the largest use is the screen, which is normal if you're using it. It would be a concern if it was some other weird background process - but if it's your screen, that makes sense! The best way to squeeze out some more juice is to lower your screen brightness.

I swear the brightness has always been at almost the lowest. I wonder if the "Adaptive Display" and "Sync" were the black hands ?
