I would like to know if the Moto G is still worth buying as I have read on other sites that it has comparatively old hardware and has bugs when upgraded to 5.0. I really liked the phone. Is it still worth buying because I would definitely upgrade to 5.0. The issues which concerns me is the battery which is even lesser than the Moto E 2nd gen.

Please provide suggestions. I wouldnt buy E as I need a decent camera. What are the chances of bugs in Moto G 2nd gen, and is it worth to spend on this specification and hardware? If bugs are there is there a chance to find a solution to them?

P.S I want to buy stock android.

Yes, Moto G is still worth. if there is bug after update so error will definitely fix, and regarding battery i agree with you, currency moto e 2 not available in market so we cant say anything about it.

I've been using Moto G 2nd Gen. more than 3 weeks. This is the best nobile i've ever used. Stock Android Lollipop 5.0.2 experience is awesome.

This is battery life i got

id go for the new moto e lte, great device. gonna keep it until the rumored moto g 2015 lte comes.

I have been asking myself the same question. But the older processor and 1 gb ram i am not sure. I am not a huge gamer but i do it sometimes. Can anyone comment on the performance? Have you seen any/many lags or draw backs?

Do you think the rumored Moto G LTE (2015) will have the same specs as the non-LTE model or will we see a bump? I'm really impressed with the new Moto E, but I'd rather hold out for the larger screen. I hope the price point stays just about $200 like the last LTE model.

Well it's no screamer but is certainly capable and doesn't have much lag to it at all. Only drawback I can think of would be reloading of apps or web pages due to the 1GB RAM. One huge plus is that it's not carrier branded and gets updates much more quickly than even branded Moto X's

I bought it and though I am also not much of a gamer I found no big lags except when you multitask alot with heavy apps in the background. Its pretty smooth and i like how simple the stock android is. The 1 GB ram seems enough for me. And believe me when I say coz I really install alot of social apps.

Actually you just hit the nail on its head, the only time lag happens is after using heavy webpages on Chrome.
