i think my phone is attacked. its poping up ads uncontrollably, downloading unknown apps in the background, restarting itself, going to home automatically. this happens mostly when data is enabled. how do i stop this annoying behavior because i cant use my phone anymore

Looks like your phone are infected with adware..try to clean your browser history. You can also try downloading Clean Master app to remove the adware...avoid visiting suspicious websites
