Is my HTC G10 supported by Android Auto? I can get my wife’s LG phone to work but not mine.

I have a 2018 Kia Sorento and have loaded the Android Auto app on my phone and my wife’s phone. Hers syncs properly with the car but mine doesn’t, Kia dealer says it’s a problem with the app. Will Android Auto be adding support for my phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Is that the Desire HD? I can't find an HTC G10 when I search on Google -- only a Desire HD G10, but I'm not sure if the G10 part is actually part of the model name. What version of Android is it running?
