Kindle preventing HTC One update
I have been trying to update my HTC for a long time with no luck. It is on 4.3 still. It's not rooted. I do not have it plugged in when updating.
When I try to update the red triangle appears after the green bar reaches 20%. Then I open recovery mode and see this message: unexpected content /system/app/att_amazonkindle.apk update aborted.
I have cleared the cache for the Kindle app multiple times and tried again. Then I re-downloaded the Kindle updates and tried again. I restored my phone to factory settings once, updated from a computer, and tried everything I can think of. The same error message appears every time. Any suggestions without having to root?
