Okay so 2 nights ago, I was charging my phone and it just started vibrating. I looked at my phone and it was switching back between charging and not charging very rapidly and the phone was going haywire vibrating. I took it to another charger, it did the same thing. I ended up trying about 7 chargers, usb and not usb, as well as different ports. All seemed to do the same thing. (NOTE: All the chargers worked on my phone before...) Anyways, my phone eventually died and now all I get is a flashing red light on my phone when it's hooked up to the charger..Everyone says "Ohh that's just the phone completely dead". I've searched many forums as well as videos to see what to do, nothing helped. I tried cleaning out the micro USB port, nothing helped. I let it charge all night, and woke up to the red light still flashing..So I came to AndroidCentral as my last resort. :-\

If you've already tried several different chargers/cables as well as different outlets, and tried leaving it plugged in overnight as well with no luck, then yeah, it sounds like it's probably dead. You'll need to contact LG for warranty service, check the card that came with the phone. You can also probably find the warranty info somewhere on Google's site. Alternatively, you could try a local cell phone repair shop.

Get an RMA

Problem is, this is a refurbished phone, because my original one I bought, the screen shattered. So I sent it to get repaired and they just sent me a refurbished phone.

I would think that the refurbished phone would have a warranty that would expire at the same time as the original one that it replaced, That is usually how the warranty works on a replacement.

So I figured out it's not my battery on my phone, it's the micro usb port. I have to hold it a certain way to let it charge. It charged easily at work, but now that I'm home it won't charge at all...Like no hint of charging or anything.
