is my phone having signs of being hacked?

My Motorola droid mini keeps randomly opening my browser to a page that gives me virus scams. it keeps saying my phone is infected and things like that. it just randomly opens different pages on my phone and sometimes i have to turn my phone into safe mode to even get it to work
