Is my screen 720p or 1080p?

The interface just seems to big to me even though it's 1080p. When I launch Chrome it just seems like if the resolution was smaller I could see more on the screen at once. Everything is big like some 720p phone. I don't mind the big icons.

It is 1080p. You can change the DPI scaling if you want. Instructions for the s7, but I believe that this phone would be similar

There is a built-in method to make on-screen items smaller, go to settings, then tap Display, then adjust the View Mode. There are three settings, Small, Medium, and Large. The phone is set to Large by default, but I find Small perelfectlly suitable for daily use.
