I've been pretty patient with this whole thing compared to most but now I have to admit its a little frustrating with orders shipping already before my 10/29 order.

But I got lollipop sideloaded yesterday on my N5. Anybody thinking the N5 with lollipop is worth canceling their N6.? It runs really sweet and my battery life has improved a little bit.
I'm not canceling mine but it has had me thinking of canceling a couple of time. N5 is really nice with lollipop.
Any opinions???

A month from now when you have the N6, all of the negative feelings associated with the issues in receiving it will be irrelevant to your experience.

The N5 was, and remains, a phenomenal phone in most respects and a tremendous value. Lollipop will refresh the user experience, making it feel - to a degree - like a new phone.

The N6 will run apps smoothly, but the N5 is not lacking in performance running the current gamut of available apps by any means. Camera will be better on the N6, but if you were specifically dissatisfied with the N5's, you won't be satisfied with the N6 (or possibly any smartphone camera for that matter). If you watch a lot of media or do a lot of browsing on your phone, the bigger/better display & better sound of the N6 may on their own be justification and will be the main things you notice on a daily basis.

Basically, if the cost isn't really a concern and you don't mind the larger body, get the N6 - it's an upgrade in nearly every facet (albeit minor in many areas).

If the phone has served you well i would keep it as a backup phone. I have the note 4 and my backup phone (evo 4g) running on a WiFi hotspot with Skype (paid version)
serves me well.

Yes I'm not canceling my order. I do a lot of emails and the larger screen on the N6 will be very welcome.

Just wondering if lollipop persuaded anybody else to stick with the N5?

I think the n5 is still a solid device, and for the price point, cannot really be beat. It will also get updates almost immediately, and is only a year old, so will get support for at least another year and most likely longer.

I sold my N5 and have been using my N4 while I wait for my N6.

Lollipop is so good on the old handset I'm considering canceling and sticking with the N4 for a while - maybe see what pops up in the spring.

I'm staying with the N5 and I'm still on kitkat waiting for lollipop. It's just a really good phone. I'll spend my money in other areas. The N5 covers all my mobile computing device needs.

I was going through the same thing with my iPhone 5S. I was thinking that it would be best to keep it because it looked and performed so well with iOS 8. My advice to you is, if you still like the Nexus 5 and it is running well, keep it for as long as it works for you.
