I'm thinking it was called Trusted Devices?? Is Near Field or Radio Freq. near phone to by pass need for password reality? If so, where are the FOB's available at and does Lollipop support?

I don't think it would be Yubikey, I was reading somewhere and lost lick there was afob that must be within 30 feet of phone and having to enter password is not required.

Trusted Device on Lollipop is a reality, and it functions like SkipLock, where if the device is connected to any Bluetooth device or wi-fi network that you specify as trusted, it will automatically bypass the lockscreen. Not sure if Lollipop's Trusted Device function works with NFC, but I don't think that would be ideal anyway, because NFC would require the fob very close to the phone in order to function.
