I decided to get the Razr and Ive had it for over a week now but my plan is to return the razr tomorrow to keep my upgrade for the Nexus Galaxy. What are your thoughts on that?? I don't want to hear , What it could have or if it had this or that. I'm not to impressed by the Razr.

This is my plan for the Galaxy Nexus:
If the double the data plan ends before the Nexus comes out, then I plan on upgrading to the Razr, then giving my brother my Droid Charge so he can LTE speeds with the 4G data, while I use the Razr than trade it for the Galaxy Nexus.

Since the GN is a Nexus series phone, and all the updates i.e. OS, security, improvements will come straight from Google and no one else. I think the GN will be lot better than the Razr or the Rezound.

You answered it yourself, you said you aren't impressed so why keep something you do not like? Sounds like a simple choice to me.

i know but is the nexus more for people that like to root ? Is it an everyday kind of use phone?

I played with the RAZR and IMO, wait for the Galaxy Nexus. The Nexus can work as an everyday kind of use phone AND it can be used as a rooted device with custom Roms and users who like to Overclock their devices. The GNexus should not have ANY type of bloatware from Verizon which the RAZR does. I would bet money that the GNexus receives updates way faster than the RAZR will because the GNexus is a pure Google phone.

Pure Android doesn't necessarily mean that it is better. I would say for the general consumer, a phone like a Droid Razr or Rezound would be better. The UI overlays make it easier for the general consumer to navigate and enjoy. And I have found that the general consumer has a tendency to use some of the bloatware that comes on smartphones. Updates to the newest software really only appeal to a small percentage of Android users. The rest of users just want a phone that works. The Galaxy Nexus is going to be a good phone, but it may not appeal to the masses. I wouldn't be surprise if most people even knows what the Nexus line is. But they will probably know what Droid is. After having the Nexus S, pure Android doesn't interest me anymore. I spent a lot of my time downloading widgets and customizing my homescreens to look like Sense anyway. I may have well just gotten an HTC phone.

Very well said. In my case, I am more interested in a strong phone since i live in a small town in the middle of a desert, 4G is a good year to two years away, so all the goodies with the Nexus mean nothing. However, not having a replaceable battery is mind boggling to someone who might need to swap out batteries.

But, from all I have read (so far) it appears the phone with the strongest phone reception is the Razr (when compared to the writeups on the Rezound). So, I'll just sit and wait for reports of the Nexus radio reception; but honestly, Samsung is not noted (personal experience with the Fascinate and some reviews) to have decent radio reception in fringe areas when compared to Moto phones.
