is pixel 3 and pixel 2 Charging brick the same

Is the charger on the pixel 3 the same as the charger on a pixel 2? In other words, will they both charge my pixel 3 at the same speed?

They look the same to me. I still have my charger from the Pixel 1 and it charges at the same speed as the pixel 2 and pixel 3 that I had.

not sure either. i know the pixel 3 xl charger is 18 watt, and i think the regular 3 is 15 watt? not 100% sure. one way to find out is to use an app like ampere to test your them. see what the amp it is charging at when the phone is almost depleted since they are charged at the fastest when the battery is low.

but yeah, they all charges pretty fast. i still have mine in the box and using my old pixel 2 and even an old nexus 5x charger.

I think they could be interchangeable. I did charge my P3 for a little bit with the P1 block, and it was fast charging.

yeah, they all will be fast charge, but i think just at different speed if the wattage of the charger are different. kind of like quick charge 2 and quick charge 3.

I checked with Google support and they said yes same wattage and they both can be used on the pixel 3 XL.
