Is seamless update mandatory??

Can HW pass GMS Certification without Seamless update???

It's not mandatory from my understanding. For example, it came out with Nougat and must be setup from the factory (meaning it's not something that can be added via an update later), but the LGV20 was released with Nougat and doesn't have that feature.
