Is Smart Notice worth it?

I'm getting birthday reminders and option to contact the birthday person...one full week in advance, but not on their birthdays. Does it get "smarter"?

Doesn't seem to be worth it to me, but I've had my G3 for one week, and it seems - based on the demo video - that smart notice could be useful.

Pros and cons. Please comment. Thank you.

Not really worth it in my opinion. All it ever did for me was give me constant aircraft advisory notices or something.

After about 2 weeks of using smart notice all I ever got was a couple notices to check smart tips. So I removed the widget and just went with the weather and time widget.

Yeah.... I kind of dismissed it as LG's feeble attempt at their own Google Now.... but I didn't really give it the time of day since I switched over to the Google Launcher. I'd be curious to see the experience of someone who has let it do its thing for a few weeks/months to see if it accomplishes anything useful.
