I absolutely love my phone but, I've noticed that if touch the back of the phone in the middle there is a little give in the back cover and it's a bit creaky. I know that people complained about this with the S4 but, It never bothered me like it does on my shiny new Note 4.

My Note 4 is still naked but, I'm getting a case delivered tomorrow which should resolve this issue.

Is anyone else noticing this?

I don't really notice anything. A slight noise if I really try and listen.

Yep. I believe it's mostly when I put it up to my ear. Doesn't bother me too much.

Not at all. Have had the phone a week now, and took the back off exactly once. May be with time it will lossen and have more give, but so far, totally solid.

I'm sorry to hear that, it must be frustrating :( I checked for you on my friends note 4. There was no noise. If I were you, I just wouldn't worry about it. :)

No creak in the back of my black GN4, feels very solid. I'm wondering if those with creaky backs have white, black, or both.

I'm also wondering if it matters where it was manufactured. I believe there's 3-4 different versions. I know of Korea, Vietnam, and China.

Mine doesn't creak, but I will say that the feel of the plastic back on the Note 4 is very similar to the feel of the back of the Samsung-made Nexus 10, which I have and which did creak. That creaking has long since gone away, though, or has at least become virtually unnoticeable.

No creeking on mine, but my S5 started creeking really bad after about 3 months of owning it.

Mine had a slight pop or creak if I pressed or held it just a certain way, I figured out that it was the battery not sitting perfectly in its place, I had to put one of those very thin round green felt sticky pads on the bottom of the battery, it doesn't make the creak sound any longer.
