Is the battery life supposed to be this bad.....

Hi all,
I do really really need some assistance with what?s going on with my phone. (It?s an I9305)
The battery is getting worse and worse by the day on it and it?s not even a year old. Are there any known hardware issues with this phone because compared to my friends phones it doesn?t keep up at all. Yesterday I hung up from a call and the phone shows 27% after a few minutes I hear the beep showing its at 15% so I took it up to look at what?s been using up the power and while I?m looking around in the menus it dies on me? If it is supposed to be like this then that?s the worst phone I have had so far. I do have warranty on the phone but I would rather know if there is anything I can do by myself before sending it out since I?ll be without a phone for 4 weeks then?
I have tried to take some screen-shots to see if it will make anyone wiser then me? Oh and worth mentioning is that I haven't used it to call today only a small amount off browsing and FB other then that it's been in my pants pocket all day at work.... :'(
Would really appreciate some input on this?

Welcome to the forums.
10 hours isn't really all that bad considering your cell signal is horrid. However, let's try something. You can try clearing cache in recovery. I just did a cash wipe so lets see if that helps.
What I forgot to say was that I have tried turning of the LTE and just running on 3g tried using the energy saving mode and it really doesn't do any difference. I have to say that when the phone comes down to below 15% it starts flickering on the screen and sometimes it just dies a 5% sometimes something else...
Also I have noticed that when using the phone while its plugged in to the outlet it still discharges... While sleeping I usually charge the phone and sometimes it just keeps beeping that its fully charged every 10 minutes or so, like it would get charged and then discharge and charge again...
