Is the "calendar" on the HTC Incredible the same as the google calendar?

If its not, then I am surprised, because they hyped it up as being connected to all things google.
But it wont sync an event I add to the phone to my gmail calendar.
..and I cant find a gmail calendar app!

I think that HTC has tweaked the calendar a little bit (or maybe just their widget?), I'm not sure. Either way, mine syncs perfectly fine. Do you have auto-sync turned on in your settings and everything? Also, when you add the event it gives you the option of choosing a calendar; make sure you choose a calendar that is linked to your Google account.

Thanks, I was stupidly not selecting Google calendar. And now i know the diff between the HTC widget and the android one. Awesome. I love this phone more and more....

Happy to help, and glad you like the phone, I'm loving it as well. The Google Calendar integration is great and one of my favorite features, as simple as it is.
