Is the decision clear between the s2 and the bionic?

locked bootloader doesn't mean no root... just means no custom ROMs

I still want to see vids of the Bionic and see how it works. I have a good understanding of what I will get with the S2, but have no clue how well the Bionic will work or even what all the specs are such as camera. S2 is my clear leader, LTE or not, because the phone works so well(assuming Verizon doesn't find a way to screw that up). Bionic will have to be near flawless for me to put it back as my first choice. Honestly both phones aren't two year phones, I will likely sell the one I get and replace it in a year, but I feel like the S2 will give me the better experience during that time.

Barring release date and 4G LTE

between SGII and Bionic, I will be going with Bionic.

Why you ask?

First, build quality is very important to me. Bionic is aluminum, SGII is plastic.
2nd, Bionics form factor looks better, just slighty, both are not very attractive
3rd, Blur is not as ugly as touchwiz

although SGII does have better things over Bionic as well, but the ones i mentioned above edges it out.

1st, Touch Wiz 4 is better than blur despite being uglier
2nd, not confirmed but SGII is slimmer, doesnt really matter to me
3rd, the biggest edge it got is the screen

I just can't bring myself to buy a phone if I can't flash CM onto it.

My next phone will be the Bionic, even if SG2 is LTE. I have played with the Charge a lot, and just prefer the feel of the motorola phones I have had, quality just feels better to me. My OG Droid is still running strong. I have never had any issues with the phone and I have abused it to hell and back.

It's a solid yes for the bionic for me... with the photon having a unlocked bootloader, I'm guessing and hoping for an unlocked bootloader on the biopic and I am gonna say bye bye to the webtop
