is the Gear S2 a candidate for Black Friday sales?

Really getting the itch to buy this watch. Almost ordered it today but being that it's a new gadget what are the chances it will be a Black Friday or other big sale item (really!) soon? I want the 3G version currently $349 on VZW.

I also read that you don't have to specifically get one for your carrier, it works on like 4 different carriers. True? False?

I know that BestBuy is having a sale for the WiFi version for $50 off. Not sure if it applies to the 3G version.

Been to the Samsung site several times. You can Add to Cart the bluetooth version but to buy a 3G version it kicks me over to the VZW website. $299 with contract, don't want a contract. Do you have a direct link that sells the 3G on the Sammy site or off contract version?

I'll be purchasing off contract as well (retail) but #1 $350 isn't a sale price and #2 I checked w/2 VZW brick and mortar stores, one being a corporate store - they only had the black and I want the silver.
