Is the LG G3 still competitive in this day? Any alternatives during its generation?

I am thinking about purchasing an LG G3 to pair with a Windows Phone, but I am not so sure how it fares today with newer phones. I would like to know if it is still competitive / capable of good gaming (among others).

Is the G3 the best flagship that generation has?

Whether it was the best of its generation is not easy to define - though many of us thought so - but it certainly broke new ground, and where it went, some others followed. I have one myself....it was, and remains, a top-quality device, eminently usable alongside its younger offspring, the G4. I don't think you could go wrong with it.
