Is the LG V30 (VS996) compatible with total wireless?

When I purchased this device, the seller sent me the IMEI. Total wireless' IMEI checker said it was eligible, but the customer service reps gave me two different answers as to whether it would work. Does anyone have experience with this?

Total Wireless uses Verizon's towers. The VS996 is the V30 variant for Verizon. So yes, it should work.

The Verizon version of the V30 works just fine on Total Wireless. That's what I'm currently using.
