Is the M9 better than the S6/G4?

Idk about the g4 but s6 yes simply by sd card expansion. I love my m9

And what about the resolution?

Both the S6 and G4 have higher resolution screens, if that's what you mean.

The One M9 has a higher resolution camera.

Whether the M9 is 'better' than the others, that's a subjective opinion. Hard to say if you'll like it more than the others. You'll just have to try it out and see for yourself if you like it.

I mean, since M9 is FHD and G4 is QHD, G4 seems to be quite superior

When it comes a superior screen. Color accuracy and brightness outdoors are things that are more important than resolution. I should note that the M9 excels in neither and has a poor resolution. Get the G4, not sure why you are on here trying to talk yourself out of it.

If you already made up your mind, why are you asking? As has already been mentioned, it is subjective to the features that are most important to you, none of which you listed here when you asked.

I love this phone speakers, but is this phone any better than the other flagships?

Honestly nobody will be able to answer that but you. That's more of a subjective statement. I wouldn't own a S6 because of TouchWiz. LG's skin isn't really anything I like that much either. But you may like those. As far as the displays go, yes the other 2 have higher resolution. I haven't seen the G4 in person, but I think the M9's screen looks better than the G3, which also had a higher resolution. The S6 has a nice display, but I don't care for much else in it. These are of course just my opinions. As nice as the S6 display is, it seems over-saturated to my eyes, but others don't think so. In my opinion the M9 is overall better than the S6. I'm curious about the G4, but for me the width pretty much makes it a no-go for me. Others won't find anything wrong with how wide it is.

Where I'm going with this is things that make the M9 the best for me may not be important to you. Specs don't tell the whole story.

To me the G4 display seemed washed out when brightened.

Go with the M9.

I've never seen the G4 screen but I know the M9 screen isn't properly calibrated. It also isn't very bright in outdoor light either. I know the screen on the S6 is much better in those areas than the M9. The screen isn't the M9's strength.

Coming from the S6 I can clearly say the M9 is better.
With the new 1.40 FW the camera in daylight is even better than S6.
The only single thing I miss from S6 is the sharpness of the screen, making text much more easier to read if you have nearsighted eyes problems (but the pink tint and burnins are huge turn-downs)

Well I had the S6 and the G4. I got rid of the S6 due to lag especially in the keyboard. It was horrible for me. I loved the camera and the screen. I had the G4 as well. I did like the screen of the g4 but I think the S6 beats it in my opinion. The camera on both phones are on par with on another. But I got rid of the G4 as it had the worst battery I have had in a long time.

I returned the G4 today and got the M9. It had been a long time since I have had a HTC. Only had it a few hours. I week let you know what I think when I have had more time with it.

M9 camera may have a higher resolution camera, the camera is still crap.

The g4 and s6 still has a better screen and better camera.

The s6 and m9 has a better build quality than the g4.

The ui overlay is a personal preference, so i will leave it at that.

Yes the S6 and G4 have better cameras than the M9. It's no contest really. I do have to say though so far I am very impressed with the M9. After using the S6 and G4 I think overall the M9 is better than both. Yes they may have more features and better cameras but both lag. The G4 had a horrible battery.

This is my first HTC since the original EVO and I have to admit this is a very fine device.

The HTC camera WAS crap now it beats the S6 in daylight
S6 build quality? did you see S6 back that peel by themselves? We've just discovered a shocking problem with the Galaxy S6 - Android Blizzard

Everything is matter of preference, even the camera. Only one phone can have the "best" camera. That doesn't make the camera on other phones below it "crap". I take some really beautiful pics with my camera. I guess you just have to know how to use it. Some people don't care about having the phone with the best camera if it doesn't please them with other features. Just like the UI. Some people are willing to put up with a little lag if they are getting something else they want out of the phone. Preference is across the board. Did you actually have the M9 at some point or are you just making blind statements?
