Is the Motorola G third gen compatible on Metropcs?

metropcs/moto g 3rd gen user here. It works great! I've been using it for almost a month now. If you already have a micro sim card from your recent metropcs phone, you can use it with your new moto g. I activated mine free of charge over the phone by calling 888 METRO 8 ... If you activate it at the store, they'll charge you 15 dollars. I tried activating first via metropcs website but for some reason it wouldn't work.

The only hiccup I ran into was the APN settings that the lady from Metropcs over the phone gave me... they didn't work for me and I couldn't send or receive picture/video texts. This seems to be a common issue and I was able to find APN settings that worked within an hour of hunting around the net. But after changing the APNs everything has been working great.

If you happen to have an issue, just holler and I'll show you my settings and hopefully they'll work for you.

Best wishes, I can say that for me, I wish I had done this sooner-buying a phone outside of what metro sells and activating through them.

*edit* I'd also like to add that the moto g migrate tool was simple and made switching from my metropcs Samsung Galaxy Avant to the moto g a breeze. all my photos contacts and messages were backed up properly, and it made moving forward so much easier
