Android Central Question
is the nexus 4 Micro USB 2.0 B , or Micro USB 2.0 AB, and does it support USB OTG?
Am I correct in thinking that if it supports USB OTG but has Micro USB 2.0 B, instead of Micro USB 2.0 AB, then it breaks USB spec?
'cos OTG has to be both A and B.
I know some devices e.g. the Pi Zero, broke spec by using Micro USB 2.0 B instead of Micro USB 2.0 AB. And some phones did.
Maybe because Micro 2.0 AB sockets are apparently rectangular and possible for people to plug their charging cable in the wrong way. Whereas at least Micro 2.0 B are trapezoid so not having that issue.
