Is the performance difference shown in this video really this drastic?

I'm not an Apple fan, so even the best iPhone in the world doesn't matter to me - and, out of Android phones, I always go back to the Pixel . The 4XL is my favorite Flagship of the past year. However, can you help me shoot some holes in his video? Or is the performance difference really this drastic?

These tests are meaningless ...

AMEN. I love how some of them say "real world usage". As if anyone does what they do in these videos. Mostly they are silly.

I will say this however. I just bought my first iPhone (11 Pro Max), and the performance is excellent overall. Better than any of the Android phones I've owned (by varying margins).

These videos though? Mostly ridiculous IMO. Just dumb.

Apple's proprietary chip always destroys every Android phone in these tests, but I don't think its felt in real use. Particularly since Android allows me to create so many shortcuts, icons, home screens, to my personal use, where Apple is very rigid and doesn't allow much customization. Especially with Nova Launcher.

I use both, have 11 Pro Max and Pixel 4 XL. Yes, Apple's chip is way ahead on anything available on Android, in real world uses you probably won't notice much difference. Pixel 4 XL feels very fast and smooth.
