Is the Pixel 8 the first Pixel to launch without a nagging problem?

(like the AOD discoloring on the P8P)

I think most of the nagging issues were one of two things,;

Hardware issues or bugs created by bad setups. If you didn't have any hardware issues and you didn't restore apps with their data then you were good.

Even if the bugs are created by restoring apps rather than starting from scratch, that's still a problem with the phone because it doesn't happen on any other manufacturers devices.

All I'm saying is that there were plenty of people who DIDN'T have issues.

And yes it does happen on other phones. I can't do a restore from backup even on Samsung's. I always end up doing a factory reset and setting those up fresh too.

No probs here, in fact I've had no major bugs with any of my Google phones from my Nexus 6p, 2xl, 4xl, 5, 6pro or 7pro either... All have been pretty solid for me

Well my p8 has a issue where sometimes the clock doesn't show on the lock screen.

And I did get horrible battery life yesterday for no reason.

I've have bugs but I have no idea how widespread they are.

Seems like the users here are saying the Pixel 8 is less buggy when compared to previous Pixel phones, not necessarily when compared to other phones, which would be my stance. Might be relatively bug-free for a Pixel, but still has more issues than other high-end smartphones.
