Is the S5 Camera Bug Cured?

Has the bug that was plaguing some S5 cameras, particularly Verizon ones, been fixed?

What camera bug are you talking about? I have the Verizon model and I have no bugs with the camera unless I'm missing seeing it.

On the new photo app that Google just distbuted, the focus of photographs pulse. The pulsing results in temporary non focus. Is there any way to stop the camera from pulsing its focus before I take a photo?

I have Galaxy s5 with Verizon and I'm not very happy with all the bugs my phone has the screen is always freezing, it restarts it's self, it has shut off and wouldn't turn back on for awhile....I loved my s3 but since owning this phone I might be switching to the iphone and I never thought I wpuld say that. Way too many issues very disappointed with the Galaxy S5.

You should really try performing a cache clear in recovery if after a day or two that doesn't improve performance a factory data reset definitely will its a pain but WORTH it

My Samsung Galaxy S5 phone and stock Samsung Lollipop firmware are blooming great!

Have you tried wiping your phone's cache partition or a Full Wipe and Factory Data Reset, (almost mandatory on Verizon's own firmware), as per the S5 Lollipop Update Problems - Dummies Guide

I read something on these forums about a bug with the camera. It seemed like a big deal. But I can't find the page now.

Are you guys referring to the qcamera daemon? it runs away and kills your battery Ultrafast while you get the added bonus of a 250 degree battery
