Is the ZTE ZMAX getting Android L?

I know ZTE is not too good about getting new updates on old phones, but this one is less than a month old. Is there a way to root it to stock when it comes out? I'm new to android please help!

I don't think most manufacturers have committed to specific plans regarding Android Lollipop yet. It usually takes at least a few weeks once it's actually available before they'll start discussing plans about rolling it out to devices.

Given that your phone is fairly new, I would hope ZTE would update it, but we'll just have to wait and see what they say.
