is their a way to fix battery with (?)?

okay so i bricked my droid 2 global this week and then un-bricked it last night.
when i plugged my phone in to charge it it would say that it was an invalid battery, and this battery is the battery that came with the phone.
so when i turn it on all it will show at the top right corner is the battery with the question mark in the middle of it.
is their a solution to fix this?

either your battery is bad, or your phone is bad
most likely from your low battery trick you did

buy new battery and see if phone charge works
