Is there a EVO ROM which can turn off all radios separately?

I've switch carriers and I'm thinking about turning my EVO 4G into just a WiFi media device for my kids (Like the Galaxy Player), since I cannot use it with my new carrier. In order to do that I need to be able to permanently turn off the cell radios via a toggle. Does anyone know of a good ROM for the EVO 4G which includes the ability to turn on/off all radios separately?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but any rom should be able to support this. If the phone does not have service, the cell portion cannot be used anyway. Just make sure that wifi is on, and it should be good to go (at least that's the way it works on my old Palm Pre, I can use wifi, but I can't make calls or 3g data).

Otherwise, you can put the phone into 'airplane mode', and then turn back on wifi alone.

Yea you don't need really to do anything. If its not active, its not going to call someone except under one circumstance... 911 mode. All phones have the ability to dial 911 even if not active.
So if you trust your kids won't do it, then your good. Otherwise, airplane mode will kill the radio from any from.

Yep.. Just airplane mode. But no need to do anything as if no data plan or service, it will be disabled anyways. Now if you wanna go really crazy about it, play with CDMA workshop and delete the MIN.
